Introducing climate centre
Climate centre is a practical framework for collective learning and action in response to the climate emergency.
Climate centre aims to bring together artists, educators, students, activists, and everyone else to develop new ways of learning, organising, and creating that strengthen community resilience and collective agency in the midst of the climate emergency.
Rather than a fixed institution, climate centre adapts to its local context, taking shape in a school, library, or public space. Through workshops, assemblies, and public interventions, participants co-create tools such as a climate action toolkit, a living archive, and a shared library that connects local practice to a wider network.
The framework supports community organisations, schools, libraries and others seeking to move from awareness to collective responsibility. By linking local and international partners, the climate centre wants to build lasting relationships of care, reciprocity, and action, from the point of view that collectivity, creativity and celebration play central roles in the transition toward ecological and social justice.
